There are different types of Dental plans.

Traditional Dental Plans:

May have a small deductible to meet, most will pay for preventative services for minimal to zero cost to you.  Most also have waiting periods.

Discount Dental Plans:

Very affordable and in most cases can be used right away with no waiting periods.  PPO’s are the most popular with Dental providers.

Other Dental Plans:

Gives you discounts with no waiting period and the amount of discount increases yearly to a top amount.

Vision:

May have a deductible, provides minimal to zero cost for routine exams, gives discounts on lenses, frames, and other features.
